In the wake of a tropical storm that eroded the protective sand dune along a residential shoreline, our team at RPA Services undertook a full restoration project to rebuild and stabilize the property’s natural barrier. We imported and graded clean sand to reestablish the dune’s original elevation and contour, then reinforced the area using environmentally responsible coir fiber logs. These biodegradable erosion control structures were strategically buried within the dune to provide structural integrity while promoting native vegetation regrowth. The result is a fortified, aesthetically natural dune that helps safeguard the home from future storm surges and rising tides.
